The invention relates to a method for determination of beryllium content of beryllium ore. The method comprises the following steps of 1, preparing standard lithium tetraborate glass fuse pieces, 2, preparing a sample of a lithium tetraborate glass fuse piece, and 3, focusing laser beams on the surfaces of the standard lithium tetraborate glass fuse pieces, wherein the laser beams have the wavelength of 266nm, energy density of 3-5mJ and frequency of 10-20Hz, acquiring a spectral signal so that signal strength is determined, wherein integration time is in a rang of 400ms-1s and 313.042nm of a spectral line is adopted, drawing a beryllium standard substance working curve showing a change of signal strength along with beryllium content values, and determining beryllium content according to the beryllium standard substance working curve. The method can realize detection under spectral conditions of large integration time. Through the method, stable and reliable analysis results are obtained. Aiming at analysis of a sample of a lithium tetraborate glass fuse piece having beryllium content of 1.00*10 to 1.79*10 g/g, the method has a relative standard deviation less than 5%.
