Research and Application of Iron Ladle Tracking Based on RFID Sensor Technology

This paper proposes relevant intelligent computing solutions for the specific business of a large steel plant in Tangshan. The company adopts the “one iron ladle to the end” production mode, which improves the production efficiency and puts forward higher requirements for the transportation and scheduling of hot metal at the same time. However, the traditional transportation scheduling mode is obviously unable to meet the needs of production, which is not only inefficient, but also easy to affect the smooth progress of production. At this time, a new scheduling method is needed to meet the needs of the company’s hot metal scheduling and management, to minimize the waiting time of hot metal in the way, and to ensure the hot metal temperature and continuous casting requirements for steel-making. In this paper, a positioning technology based on RFID is proposed. By using sensor related technology, the location information of the iron ladle in the way is collected, and the information of the path, position, direction and speed of the iron ladle in the transportation process is reflected in real time, and the real-time data is provided for the dispatcher.
