La séparation de la famille: un moyen pour promouvoir l’autonomie

This article proposes some reflections about the experience of therapeutic separations from family for a disable child in the context of a day care center. In those cases where family bounds are entangled and the separation process gets stuck, professionals can propose to parents a night care for the child for just few days a week, in order to support and to help the family. The hypothesis behind this proposal is that this kind of separation supervised by professionals may be therapeutic for the whole family system.
