LOS HORNOS DE VIDRIO DE RAMÓN SÁEZ EN CADALSO DE LOS VIDRIOS (MADRID)

As a result of the research project entitled: “Industrial Archaeology: Preservation of the Mining and Metallurgical Heritage in Madrid (IV)”. We have identified and studied two old glass furnaces (Century XVIII). This project is granted by the Council of Education of the Community of Madrid, Spain, on the branch called Humanities and Social Sciences. In Madrid there were glass factories in Cadalso, El Escorial, Valdemaqueda, Nuevo Baztan and other localities. This glasss manufactures caused the end of craftsmen industrial methods. We would the conservation of the vestiges of this industrial activity.
