Optimal Downlink Resource Allocation in OFDMA Distributed Radio Access Network

In this paper, we investigated downlink resource allocation for OFDMA distributed radio access network (DRAN). By constructing a directed graph, the resource allocation problem was transformed into a linear optimal distribution problem in network flows. The initial feasible solution algorithm was presented so that the linear optimal distribution algorithm can be applied to obtain the optimal solution to original problem. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can maximize rate capacity of system under guaranteeing the minimum number of subcarriers for each user.
