Design and development of a continuous small-scale rice hull gas producer

A dual reactor rice hull gas producer has been developed with continuous gas production for engine operation. A 3.7 kW (5 hp), single cylinder, gasoline engine has been operated on producer gas for periods of up to 9.3 hours. Engine operation was excellent for the 134 hours accumulated on producer gas.
