Producción de sorgo forrajero con riego por goteo subsuperficial

2020
In the Comarca Lagunera there are 49 thousands heads of dairy livestook in production; so it is needed to maintain the forage production. However, for irrigation forage crops use most of surface and ground water, which is the most limited resource in the region forcing to have a greater irrigation application efficiency The present research study was carried out in the Laguna experimental field of the national research Institute (INIFAP) during the summer growing season. The experiment was established with a randomized block design under as split plot arragement with four replications. The main plot consisted in three irrigation treatments and the small plot two sorghum cultivars. The evaluated variables were: leaf rae aindex, plant height, fresh forage yield, dry mater production and water use efficiency. The statistical analysis was performed by using the SAS software, and the mean comparison test was done by Tuckey test with a P ≤ 0.05. The results shown that the irrigation treatments 80 and 100%*Kc of ET obtained the greater values of fresh and dry forage yield with 94.56, 33.66 t ha-1 and 89. 69, 33.26 t ha-1 , respectively. The irrigation treatment of 100% times a Kc showed the greater water use efficiency with a value of 6.0 kg of dry matter per cubic meter of water used.
