Determination of Fluoroquinolones by Microplate-CCD Camera Imaging of Micellar Sensitized Fluorescence

A methodology for the screening of fluoroquinolones(FQs) including enrofloxacin(ENR),ciprofloxacin(CIP),norfloxacin(NOR) and ofloxacin(OFL) has been proposed.This method based on the fluorescence of FQs could be sensitized by micellar system and coupling charge-coupled device(CCD) camera imaging.Linear calibration curves of all four fluoroquinolones were obtained over a range of 50~300 ng /mL.The limit of detection(LOD) defined as 3σ of ENR,CIP,NOR and OFL were 10.73,11.07,8.61 and 4.36 ng/mL,respectively.The method has been demonstrated to bear some advantages,such as simplicity,high throughput,low cost,using fewer pollutants on comparison with HPLC.This method would be performed in high throughout,real-time sceening of FQs.
