Tissue transglutaminase antibodies and celiac disease in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis and autoimmune cholangitis

Conclusions: These results demonstrate that L-NAME significantly increases mean sphincter of Oddi pressure in this endoscopic animal model. This physiologic effect was sustained for the duration of the experiment. This model may be suitable to further assess potential medical treatments for sphincter of Oddi dysfunction.
