Vascular Malformations of the Extracranial Head and Neck in Children and Young Adults
2021
Common extra-cranial vascular malformations of the head and neck encountered in the pediatric population include capillary malformations (CM), venous malformations (VM), lymphatic malformations (LM) and arteriovenous malformations (AVM). These subtypes of vascular malformations are differentiated clinically, radiologically and pathologically according to the types of vessels involved.
