Method for producing ceramic and glass pigment by using waste chromium and cobalt catalysts from fluorination process as raw materials

2011
Kind fluorination process spent chromium-cobalt catalyst as raw materials to produce the glass ceramic pigment method, a spent chromium-cobalt catalyst directly into the roaster heating fired or spent chromium-cobalt catalyst was added (NH4) 2SO4 was heated baking, roasting furnace heating temperature of 150 ℃ ~ 1300 ℃, the spent chromium-cobalt catalyst was fully converted to a mixture of cobalt oxide, chromium oxide; chromium oxide, cobalt oxide or a mixture of glass ceramic pigment directly as a colorant application, cobalt oxide or chromium oxide as a synthetic ceramic pigment application of a glass material or a colorant; exhaust limestone into water and harmless process. Application of a spent chromium-cobalt catalyst fluorination process of the present invention is a method of producing a ceramic material glass pigment, not only eliminates the hazards of chromium, cobalt, but also opens up new applications, to achieve the purpose of environmental protection and resource recycling.
