The invention relates to the field of biochips, and particularly relates to a method for preparing a visual multicolor developing plastic based biochip by using a surface micro-area selective catalytic deposition technique. The method comprises the steps: 1) carrying out surface activation treatment on a plastic substrate; 2) fixing a selective district of a probe molecule; 3) carrying out first-time sealing on the substrate; 4) capturing a partition of a target object; 5) introducing a signal triggering unit-catalyst selective district; 6) carrying out secondary sealing on the substrate; and 7) carrying out micro-area selective multicolor developing treatment on the surface of the chip. The method has the superiorities that the prepared multicolor developing biochip has the advantages of being low in cost, easy to operate, easy to carry, high in throughput and easy to analyze and the like, and is an ideal tool for implementation of on-site rapid detection and analysis.
