1983
Abstract Clinical data on all patients who have undergone coronary artery surgery in Australia are collected, audited, and published each year by the National Heart Foundation of Australia. These data from 1971 to 1980 are summarized and show the indications for operation, the variation in numbers of patients operated on in each state and unit, and the overall increase in number of operations during the decade.
