Aproximación al concepto de conciencia morfológica : concepto, desarrollo y relación con la lectura y la escritura

An approximation is realized to the concept of morphological awareness from the different studies carried out up to the moment, as well as to the development of the above mentioned awareness in the children, there being argued the possible influence of this type of awareness in the reading of words and his comprehension. In addition, it is considered to be the possibility that the morphological awareness should contribute somehow in the process of acquisition both of reading and writing. There are described the guidelines of development of the morphological awareness in kindergarten and primary school depending on different checked studies, in order to give response to the question raised on when the children acquire really this type of awareness. Finally, there appears the possibility that there exists a possible influence of the morphological awareness in learning both of reading and writing, for what the contributions of studies are added so much of theoretical review as empirical.
