The utility model discloses a magnetorheological fluid overflow valve which comprises a valve body, wherein an inner cavity is arranged inside the valve body, an oil inlet hole and an oil return hole which are communicated with the inner cavity are arranged on the valve body, and a valve core is arranged in the inner cavity. The valve core comprises a cylinder body fixed in the inner cavity, a cone valve matched with the oil inlet hole, magnetorheological fluids arranged in the cylinder body, and a magnetorheological fluid control device arranged in the cylinder body and used for controlling the moving length of the cone valve. The cone valve is connected with the magnetorheological fluid control device through a push rod. The magnetorheological fluid overflow valve has the advantages that by means of control for size changes of external currents, different damping forces are generated, then moving of the valve core is controlled, the purpose of controlling intensity of pressure of hydraulic oil is achieved, combination of electricity and liquid is benefited, operation is convenient, signal transmission between an electric system and a hydraulic system can be achieved conveniently, and achievement of mechanical automation is benefited.
