Access method and access device of PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet)

An embodiment of the invention provides an access method and an access device of PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet) and relates to the field of communications. The access method and the access device can prevent user equipment and fake access equipment from PPPoE access so as to guarantee security of user information effectively. The access method may includes the steps of broadcasting a PADI (PPPoE active discovery initiation) message; generating a verification message according to M PADO (PPPoE active discovery offer) messages if the M PADO messages which are replayed by M access devices respectively are received within a first preset time; sending the verification message to the M access devices according to address information of the M access devices so as to allow a first access device to shield the messages sent by the other M-1 access devices according to the verification message; if only the PADO message sent from the first access device is received within a second preset time, then completing the PPPoE access with the first access device. Each PADO message carries address information of each access device; the verification message includes the address information of the M access device; and M is larger than 1.
