The invention discloses an electric furnace for graphite expansion experiments. The electric furnace is mainly composed of a heating furnace body, a heating element, an electric control part, an electric quantitative feeding machine, a discharging injection device, a material receiving bucket and the like. The heating furnace body is mainly composed of an upper cylindrical furnace body segment, an intermediate cylindrical furnace body segment and a lower cylindrical furnace body segment, and all the furnace body segments are in butt joint through flanges. The electrical heating element is also divided into three segments like the furnace body, and a closed type structure is adopted for uniformly arranging the electrical heating element around a combustion chamber. The electric control part is mainly composed of input power distribution and protection, charging machine quantitative control, heating control and indicating instruments. The electric control part is provided with an integrated type control cabinet, a draught fan injection pipe device is assembled at a discharging opening, and light materials are injected into a container for storage through high speed air flow of a draught fan. Starting and stopping of a motor are interlocked with heating control. A heating power element is mainly adjusted through a pre-stage heating contactor and a controllable silicon relay. A K-type temperature measuring element is mainly adopted as a temperature detecting element and placed inside a combustion chamber. The electric furnace is high in heat efficiency, capable of raising the temperature rapidly, accurate and easy to control and is a safe and efficient graphite expansion device.
