This article discusses the changes that occur in high school at the beginning of the XXI century, the issues of forming a new education system. Improvement of quality of professional training of modern graduates in universities makes them more competitive on the labour market. Skills of independent knowledge acquisition, the solution of tasks, team work are the most popular. Authors investigate questions of the organization and promoting of project education at the higher school as the method that performs a large number of functions. Influence of the All-Russian student´s forum on development of research activity of students is considered. Describes the stages of the Forum, the final program of the federal stage, activities and discussion platforms, summarizing the work of the Forum. The survey is made with the help of General scientific methods of theoretical research (analysis and synthesis). In article the concept of project education is expanded, authors developed recommendations on introduction of project activities in the curriculum of the university. Using of the received results in educational practice allows to consider experience of participation in similar student´s forums when training future specialists.
