Previous investigations show that metals and alloys have similar short-term strengths at the same homologous temperature theta. This investigation was conducted to determine whether this is also true for the long-term strength characteristics. Alloys studied included the Ta-base alloy TV-10, 5 VMTs (5 W, 2.2 Mo), V--10 Ti--20 Nb, and EH 1415 steel, and the properties studied were creep and ductility parameter. 7 figures. (DLC)
