Improving the Resistance of Poles to Lateral Loads

ABSTRACT SEVEN pole anchorage systems were tested for their relative strength of resistance to lateral loading. The systems include concrete collars, gravel and crushed rock backfills, concrete beam and 2X6 plank. This paper reports the results of these tests.
