File transfer method and file transfers system

The invention provides a file transfer method. The method includes the steps of entering an operating interface; allowing a first electronic device to detect a touch gesture and generate a request data packet according to sliding direction information of the touch gesture; if the first electronic device receives a response data packet generated through sliding direction information of a touch gesture of a second electronic device in a preset time, establishing connection; transferring a file selected by a user of the first electronic device to the second electronic device through internet. The sliding direction information of the touch gesture of the second electronic device in the response data packet is first preset sliding direction information. The file transfer method is simple to operate; chaos is avoided even when the file transferring is done by multiple users; communication is more efficient and user experience is good. The invention further provides a file transfer system.
