Optically Transparent Metamaterial Absorber with Low Infrared Emissivity

2021
In this work a broadband optically transparent flexible metamaterial wave absorber with low infrared emissivity is proposed. A broadband microwave absorption rate of greater than 90% from 4.44 to 20.65 GHz with a low infrared emissivity of 0.36 was obtained. Due to the use of optically transparent, lightweight and flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) as substrates, it is very popular in practical engineering applications and has practical applications of multifunctional stealth technology.
