Experience of application of batch monitoring system in central sterile supply department

OBJECTIVE To explore the factors that influence the effect of sterilization of the pulsating vacuum pressure steam sterilizer and find out the causes so as to ensure the quality of sterilization.METHODS The quality of the indicators,PCD device,steam quality,and airtightness of sterilizer were investigated to find out the causes,and the causes of frequently failed batch monitoring were determined through the program analysis.RESULTS The indicator,PCD device,steam quality,and airtightness of sterilizer were all qualified,the insufficient vacuum depth and pulse height were the main causes of the frequent failure of batch monitoring.CONCLUSION The vacuum depth and the pulse height during the air removal stage can affect the air exhaust,which thereby influence the effect of sterilization.
