Staff management in a distributed library system

The library system at Imperial College has evolved as a result of continuing change and growth, and is again facing new plans for change and growth. In this paper, the author wishes to outline the main areas of staff management in the existing library system and the factors which have made the policies what they are today and how they will impact on the planning for tomorrow
