A method for recovering high-purity lithium carbonate from a solution containing lithium according to the present invention comprises the following steps: (a) cooling the solution containing lithium, and filtering the solution to obtain lithium residual solution; and (b) putting sodium carbonate (Na_2CO_3) into the lithium residual solution of step (a), and heating the solution to recover lithium carbonate (Li_2CO_3). By using the method for recovering high-purity lithium carbonate from a solution containing lithium according to the present invention, high-purity lithium carbonate having a purity of 95-99.8% can be provided, which is recovered from the solution containing lithium.
