Comparación de la Medida de Actividad Física Mediante Cuestionario Ipaq-L y Acelerómetro ‘Mywellness Key’ en Trabajadores

2016
EnglishObjective: the main aim of this study was to compare the level of agreement in results obtained from the long, self-administrated version of IPAQ (IPAQ-L), with an accelerometer ‘Mywellness key’(Technogym, Gambettola, Italy) on workers. Subjects: 59 workers volunteered to participate (n=41 women, n=18 men), aged 36 ± 7 years and BMI, 23.96 ± 3.50. Methods: Measures of physical activity (PA) levels, time spent in vigorous, moderate and low activity as well as time spent sitting were assessed by the IPAQ-L and ‘Mywellness key’ accelerometer. All subjects wore an accelerometer for 7 consecutive days and filled the IPAQ-L. Comparison between the IPAQ-L and ‘Mywellness key’ accelerometer scores was done using Pearson’s rank correlation coefficients and intraclass correlation coefficient. For all analyses, the level of significance was set to p ACKNOWLEDGMENT: This research was supported by the Catedra Sanitas-UEM (2009-2012)
