The Bioactivity and Mechanisms of Octadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride against Magnaporthe grisea

Octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride strongly inhibit the mycelium growth and spore germination of Magnaporthe grisea,octadecyl,trimethyl ammonium chloride has a good preventing and cure effect against rice blast. Field trial results show that 12% octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride has a good efficiency against rice leaf blast and panicle blast,and is safe to crop.The action mechanism experiment shows that octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can induce PAL,POX and PPO activity in rice.PAL,POX and PPO activity in rice increased rapidly after treatment by octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride.
