The invention provides a multifunctional composite heat-insulating brick and a manufacturing process thereof. The multifunctional composite heat-insulating brick comprises one or more unit composite layers, an inorganic fiber gridding cloth layer and a thin metal layer. The upper portion of the inorganic fiber gridding cloth layer is covered with the one or more unit composite layers, and the upper portion of the unit composite layer of the topmost layer is covered with the thin metal layer. Each unit composite layer is formed by a base material layer and a first inorganic fiber gridding cloth layer. The upper portion of the base material layer is covered with the first inorganic fiber gridding cloth layer. The multifunctional composite heat-insulating brick has the advantages that the brick is a novel composite material, has very high energy-saving and environment-friendly effects, is resistant to high temperature, flame, earthquake and pests, waterproof, damp-proof, light, resistant to corrosion, non-toxic, odorless and free of pollution, and can be directly veneered and is high in strength and convenient to install; and when a support is provided with a thickness cavity, the multifunctional composite heat-insulating brick is good in cooling performance, heat conducting property, heat insulation performance and air circulation performance and very convenient to construct and install.
