A study of international experience on health care delivery system and health care administration system

The international experiences on establishing a universal health care system for China are summarized as follows: general practitioner as "gate keeper" for health care and a stratified health care delivery system, emphasizing community based primary health care and long-term care, paying attention to rural health; decentralized and democratic health care management system, and free access of health in public hospital.
