Input Impedance and Resonant Frequency of a Printed Dipole With Arbitrary Length Embedded in Stratified Uniaxial Anisotropic Dielectrics
2009
Spectral domain immittance functions based on Hertz vector potentials are used to study the characteristics of a printed dipole with an arbitrary length embedded in stratified uniaxially anisotropic dielectrics. In particular, the resonant frequency and input impedance of the printed dipole are determined for various dielectric properties and thicknesses. Several newly computed results are compared to measurements, published literature, and commercial software for validation and are shown to have good agreement in all cases.
