Diagnostic Value of Sector Scan Ultrasonography Diseases in Ureteral Obstruction

Satisfactory results were obtained in the diagnosis of ureteral obstruction diseases by sector scan ultrasonography.In this series,the accuracy rate of the diagnosis in location was 94.9% (74/78) while the that of the diagonsis in etiology was 91% (71/78).It is suggested the operation of sector scanning is more flexiable and lisater than that of linear scanning;especially when the patients examined are obese and there is interference caused by gastrointestinal gas and coprostasis,the sector scan ultrasound can be used to amend the linear one and is the method of choice in diagnosis of ureteal obstruction diseases.
