An optical transceiver module, comprising: a housing; a plurality of components which are at least partially disposed within the housing, wherein the components comprise: an optical transmitter; an optical receiver; and an integrated power control circuit (IC) that is electrically coupled to at least one of the components, wherein the power control IC is configured so as to perform the power supply functions for the optical transceiver module, and wherein the power control IC having a plurality of voltage regulators which the components at two or more voltages with power.
