Реализация структурно-функциональной модели формирования профессионально ориентированных иноязычных компетенций студентов музыкальных специальностей

The article describes a structural functional model of professional foreign language competence among music students, which combines certain approaches, methods, principles, techniques and means that can be adjusted for professional training in educational schools. The model involves some samples of creative tasks for students which develop such desirable qualities of music professionals as communication, multiculturalism, imagination, interpretation, reflection, ability to use context information, to conduct cultural dialogue. Taking into account the psychological and pedagogical conditions of musicians’ professional activities, the model of professional foreign language competence of music students is aimed at their developing in a multicultural sociomusical context. In the research the term of “dialogue-like thinking” is interpreted as a quality of that develops the ability of students to change strategies and tactics, when they solve communication tasks, and that foster expanding of creative consciousness.
