The garbage can comprises a base, wherein two vertical upright posts are symmetrically mounted on the base and are equipped with two symmetrical bottomless inner cans through flanges; the bottomless inner cans are mutually connected through a connection block; a can body elevating mechanism is arranged between the bottomless inner cans and the base; an outer can is arranged outside the bottomless inner cans; a can door open-close mechanism is arranged between the bottomless inner cans and the outer can; a can cover is arranged on the outer can; and an anti-theft lock is arranged between the outer can and the base. The garbage can has the characteristics of self-locking, anti-theft, rain-proof and antifouling functions, humanized design, human-machine interaction, modularized design and low use cost.
