A influência do estágio maturacional na aptidão aeróbia de atletas de futebol da categoria sub-15

2019
The research aims to verify if there are differences in aerobic fitness between levels 3 and 4 of the mature maturational stage in athletes matched by chronological age of the sub-15 category of a professional football team. The sample consisted of 18 eutrophic individuals, 15 years of age, regular participants of the football training of a professional team, classified according to the stage of sexual maturation of the pubertal stage, stage 3 (G3; n = 8) and stage 4 G4; n = 10). Body mass and height, relative body fat (GCR), maximum heart rate (HRmax) and maximum oxygen volume (VO2max) were measured. The normality of the data was verified by the Shapiro-Wilk test. For the data with normal distribution, the Student's t-test was performed for independent samples and for the non-normal data, the Mann-Whitney test was used, and the value of 0.05 was used. After data collection, no differences were found between the groups of body mass, stature, relative body fat and HRmax, and VO2max also presented different results between the G3 and G4 groups of the pubertal stage (p = 0.789). In this sense, based on these results, it is concluded that despite the different maturational levels (3 and 4) in the pubertal stage, they do not present any difference in their aerobic fitness, showing that in this sample, sexual maturation did not have as much influence as the aptitude aerobic performance of the studied athletes.
