AbstractInterpretation of iodine 131I whole-body scintigraphy can be challenging, as there are many nonpathologic findings that may present with increased radiotracer uptake. Radiotracer uptake has been reported in the literature involving the salivary glands, thymus, renal cysts, skin contamination
