Gateway traffic compressing method, device and network service supply system

The invention discloses a gateway traffic compressing method, a device and a network service supply system to be used for optimizing traffic compressing of gateway agency. The gateway traffic compressing method includes the steps of judging whether a received terminal request contains a compressing support field or not by a gateway and obtaining a judgment result, inquiring a preset terminal compressing ability memory unit by the gateway when the judgment result is that the terminal request does not contain the compressing support field and obtaining a first query result, obtaining a compressed encoding mode supported by a terminal in the preset terminal compressing ability memory unit by the gateway when the first query result is terminal supporting compressing, compressing return content corresponding to the terminal request and returning to the terminal by using a compressed encoding algorithm supporting the compressed encoding mode by the gateway. The gateway traffic compressing method, the device and the network service supply system has the advantages of fully developing processing capacity of a client-side according to the actual processing capacity of the client-side and improving compressing efficiency of network traffic.
