Morphological Dermatology: A Study of the Living Gross Pathology of the Skin

One must agree with the foreword by the late Dr Barney Usher, to wit, "It is time it [morphology] resumed its rightful place in the scheme of things." It should be part of the welltempered dermatologist's expertise. The "compleat" clinician should be able to create in clear, universally understood words the image of the skin and its ailments. The author has divided the book into chapters under morphologic headings such as erythema, urticaria, purpuras, papules, nodules, and others. Each chapter begins with an overview that is then expanded. The book closes with a short section on method of examination, dermatologic topography, a glossary, and the index.
