Mobility Management at Link Layer

The typical wireless systems, including cellular mobile communication systems, Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs ), and satellite communication systems are briefly introduced first. Then, aspects of cellular systems including overview of network architecture, Mobility Management (MM) model and protocols, mobility management functions, and typical procedures are discussed.
