We have recently described the occurrence of high temperature-resistant strains (HTR) of the nitrogen-fixing associative symbiotic bacterium, Azospirillum 1.2 , Proline and poly-β-hydroxybutyrate (PBHP) have been implicated in response to temperature and moisture stresses in organisms 4.5 . We are reporting here the possible mechanism of high-temperature resistance in Azospirillum
