File sharing method and system

The present application discloses a file sharing method and system. The method comprises: preconfiguring terminal devices which can share files as a master terminal device or slave terminal devices, and connecting each of the secondary terminal devices to the master terminal device, wherein the master terminal device is unique; when a terminal device i needs to share the files, if the terminal device i belongs to the slave terminal devices, then acquiring a list of terminal devices which can communicate with the master terminal device currently from the master terminal device; and the terminal device i displaying the list of terminal devices, and after detecting a file sharing instruction input by a user according to the list of terminal devices, transmitting to-be-shared files to a target terminal device indicated by the file sharing instruction by the master terminal device. With the adoption of the file sharing method and system, the efficiency of sharing files among a plurality of terminals can be improved and the implementation is easy.
