The invention relates to a preparation method of mesoporous tomato stem active carbon, comprising the following steps: drying and crushing tomato stems, and sieving with a 45 mesh sieve for subsequent use; adding H4P2O7 in the processed tomato stems according to a weight ratio of the tomato stems to H4P2O7 being 1 to 0.75-1, carrying out ultrasonic processing for 15-20 min or heating for 15-20 min in a water bath kettle, standing for 7.5-8 h to obtain a mixture; heating the mixture in a muffle furnace to 450-500 DEG C, carbonizing for 1-1.5 h, cooling to room temperature, then taking out the solid material, washing, drying or naturally drying in the air. The prepared mesoporous tomato stem active carbon has the advantages of large specific surface area, developed aperture, multiple meso pores, strong adsorption, and good performance, and can effectively remove macromolecular harmful pollutant.
