The invention relates to recombination mortierella alpine of an overexpression GTP ring type hydrolytic enzyme gene and a construction method and application of the recombination mortierella alpine. An overexpression engineering strain of a GTPCH1 gene in the synthesis path of tetrahydrobiopterin is constructed, so that the function of BH4 in the synthesis process of mortierella alpine lipid is achieved. A recombination strain of the overexpression GTPCH1 gene is constructed through mediated transformation of agrobacterium tumefaciens; the relative expression level of the GTPCH1 gene in the recombination strain is raised by about two times, the total lipid content is raised by about 37% compared with wild type mortierella alpine, and meanwhile the relative content of NADPH is raised by about two times. It indicates that GTPCH1 plays a significant role in the lipid synthesis process and is probably an important regulation element for NADPH required for lipid synthesis; the recombination mortierella alpine provides a theoretical basis for deeply parsing the synthesis mechanism of mortierella alpine lipid so that the mortierella alpine lipid can become a cell factory for producing functional lipids.
