MODERN PROBLEMS OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE IN RUSSIA

Problems of protection and strengthening health of the working population is one of the most important problems of modern occupational medicine and healthcare.The article presents basic indicators of occupational morbidity and mortality in the Russian Federation. The article analyzes the indicators of mortality of the working population, where noted the phenomenon “of masculine super mortality”, presents dynamics of indicators of occupational morbidity and industrial injuries in Russia and the European Union. Problems of increase the responsibility of employers for observance accepted standards of safety are got up. It is necessary to implement principally new for Russia the concept of preservation of health of the working population, based on the principles of market economy and the assessment system, monitoring and control of occupational risks, business responsibility for the health of the working population.
