Experimental and Numerical Investigation of an Unsteady Conjugate Heat Transfer Case

This paper presents a preliminary study of the experimental validation of a numerical model of unsteady conjugate heat transfer. A case of transient forced convection on a finite rectangular flat plate is considered. The experimental facilities and the measurement procedure are detailed and the results are first presented. In a second part, the numerical method is described. Finally, the comparison between numerical and experimental results is investigated.
