SEARCH FOR THE E5(51--]O-2+) TRANSITION IN ZR-90

A special arrangement of electron spectrometers has been used to search for a weak E5..gamma.. transition in /sup 90/Zr. The experiment establishes the upper limit: B(E5,5/sub 1//sup -/..-->..0/sub 2//sup +/)/B(E 5,5/sub 1//sup -/..-->..0/sub 1//sup +/)< or =1.8 (90% confidence limit).
