Field enrichment device for volatile organic compounds in underground water

2015
The invention relates to a field enrichment device for volatile organic compounds in underground water, belonging to the technical field of environmental monitoring. The enrichment device comprises an upper tank body and a lower tank body connected in a threaded connection manner, wherein a vertically communicated first sample injection hole, a gas inlet hole and a gas outlet pipe are arranged on the upper tank body; a second communicated sample injection hole is formed in the lower tank body; and a drying device and an adsorption device are arranged in the gas outlet pipe. The operating method of the device comprises the following steps: immersing the enrichment device in a sampling water body in a rope tying or handheld manner, introducing nitrogen via the gas inlet hole after the water body sample is completely collected, drying organic matters in the drying device, adsorbing the organic matters by the adsorption device, and finishing the collection process. According to the enrichment device, loss of the volatile organic compounds in the collection process and sample transfer process can be avoided, the organic matters in the samples are completely collected, the detection result is closer to the true situation, the reference property can be greatly improved, and the device is applied to be popularized and applied in related fields.
