Design for manufacturing of a compact 4-way power divider with improved isolation at Ka band

A compact 4-way power divider with improved isolation is designed at Ka band. Study is carried out to identify sensitive parameters and find out the effect of fabrication tolerance on electrical performance using HFSS. Optimization is done to obtain a design which is suitable for manufacturing. Experimental results show that better than 25 dB isolation and better than 20 dB return loss at each port are achieved over a bandwidth of 10%. The experimental result closely matches with the simulated results.
