Teaching Module DACW 2412: Technical Communication III

This teaching module is designed to give value-added communication skills to equip the students with the demands of the working life. It is to give the students the ability to communicate technical content at a competent level verbally and in writing thus giving them higher self-esteem, better self-concept and higher confidence level. It is designed to complement the skills taught in DACW 1412 and DACW 1422. The skills covered in this module are in the ratio of 60% of aural-oral skills to 40% of reading and writing. Grammar will be taught implicitly. Learner-centred approach will be applied in teaching the students presentation techniques of formal and informal technical materials.
