Correlating coke yield with feedstock properties in FCC : Chemistry of coking, desirable and undesirable

The objective of this work was to derive an equation for calculating coke yield from feedstock properties using an absolute minimum number of empirical constants/fitted parameters. Results from earlier papers as well as one in preparation were used as a basis for the correlation.
